Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need an attorney?

If you or your loved ones have been injured or were killed due to someone failing to use reasonable care and if the person or company that caused your loss has insurance or the financial ability to compensate you or your loved ones, you need an experienced and competent attorney to investigate the facts and advise you on the appropriate course of action for you to take immediately.

Will I be assigned a case worker?

Absolutely not!  There are no case workers here. If you are in a situation that is serious enough to warrant an attorney then it is extremely important that a knowledgeable lawyer handles your case.  Should you chose to work with me, then I will handle your case from start to finish.

Does the best lawyer cost me more money?

No! All civil trial lawyers base their fees on a contingency fee schedule approved by the Florida Supreme Court. That means you pay no fee until the attorney recovers money for you. Then, the attorney’s fee to handle the case is a percentage of the total amount you recover, plus costs. So, an experienced attorney who has tried many cases and is respected by large businesses and insurance companies, has a much stronger bargaining position to obtain a larger settlement for you.  Thus, you will receive more money in the long run with an experienced attorney than you may receive with a less experienced attorney or a legal firm that is known for quick settlements instead of trying cases.

Why is it important for me to speak to you immediately?

So I can immediately obtain the evidence and speak on your behalf to the responsible party or his or her insurer. I will promptly interview witnesses. You will not just be just another client to me. I will take a personal interest in you and your case.

Can you accommodate Spanish speaking clients?

Yes. Si. Se habla espanol.
